About Grace

Grace is a Pittsburgh base artist, creator, and educator. She was born and raised in Clarion PA, where she had the privilege of growing up on a farm. At the age of 10 she began studying dance at Clarion Center For The Arts(CCA). She participated in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Lyrical, and Point. She also grew up taking Voice and Acting Lessons. While Growing up she was a part of CCA’s competition team, competing yearly at Dance Masters of Ohio. She was also apart of Clarion Area High School’s productions of How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and Newsies.

After dancing for years Grace had the opportunity to assist with classes at CCA. This is Where she fell in love with teaching. She realised the impact of the arts on children and the importance of accessibility to them.

She is now a Senior and Point Park University where she is majoring in dance with a concentration in Jazz. She also has a minor in musical Theatre and is currently taking Voice lessons under the direction of Katy Williams. Along with her BFA she is also pursuing a masters in dance education.

Along with being a full time student, Grace teaches at The Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera(PCLO). She teaches Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Musical Theatre to all ages.

While at school Grace has discovered her love for choreography. She thinks getting to see her visions come to life is one of the most fulfilling experiences. Her most recent work is With Open Eyes which was performed in Point Park University’s Fall Repertory concert.
